WORSHIP

  • We gather in person in our church building at 59 Grand Boulevard in Scarsdale. Can’t make it in person? You are welcome to tune into our livestream on YouTube at 10am on Sundays as well.

  • All are welcome to enter through the church doors on Grand Boulevard. Pick up a worship bulletin from the basket in the entry hall as you enter the church. These bulletins will be your guide through the service and include spoken prayers, hymn numbers, and other helpful information. Every worship service at Grace includes prayer, communal hymns, scripture readings, a kids’ message, a sermon, and Holy Communion.

  • Yes!  At Grace, we believe that Jesus is the host of the communion meal and all who desire communion are welcome to receive it.  Our bread is gluten-free and we always have both wine and grape juice available.

  • Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in Sunday worship. At Grace, we love kids - and all the movement and sounds that come with them! We have a kids’ area right up front with a table, soft toys, books, and coloring supplies where kids can keep busy during worship while still being able to see and hear all that is happening. We want kids to be curious about their faith, about what it is we do together on Sunday mornings, and about what that means for the rest of our week.  Children are also welcome to attend Sunday School, [link to Sunday School on ministries page] which takes place before worship every Sunday at 9:15am between September and May.

  • Dress however you feel comfortable. Our community includes folks who dress up for church, folks in jeans and t-shirts, and many children in soccer uniforms. Whatever you are wearing, you are very welcome.

  • Grace has a lift for any visitors who are unable to navigate stairs. The lift is turned on before every worship service. It is located at the base of the steps up to the church on Grand Boulevard. Instructions for use are posted on the lift along with a number to call if you need assistance.
