Faith Formation
The Grace community gathers regularly to learn and grow in our faith and discipleship through faith formation programs. To learn more, email Pastor Abby.
Sunday School
Sunday School meets from 9:15-9:50am in the Social Hall, which you can find by entering through the building’s doors on Alida Street. At Sunday School, we learn about the Bible and God’s work in the world through stories, games, songs, and activities. Kids of all ages are welcome to join us - toddlers and up! Sunday School meets from September through May of each year.
First Communion
Grace offers a First Communion Class for elementary-aged children to learn about Holy Communion and what it means. Children who have not yet communed and those who have already begun receiving communion are all welcome to participate. This class is scheduled as desired in the community.
Grace Space
Grace Space is a monthly time for folks of all ages at Grace Lutheran Church to come together with peer groups to build relationships, grow in faith, and have fun. We meet monthly on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:30pm.

Confirmation
Confirmation is a program of Christian learning and faith formation usually offered for children of middle school age. This class is a safe environment for older kids to learn about their faith and ask tough questions. The Confirmation course takes place over multiple years and concludes with the rite of Confirmation.
Grace in Action
The Grace community puts love into action through service, justice, and community programs throughout the year. These include organizing Bronx River Clean Up Days, participating in local Pride festivals, hosting community events that raise money for organizations serving those in need, volunteering at food banks, and more!

Creative Playtime
Grace Lutheran Church started Creative Playtime Preschool in 1981 in order to provide excellent, affordable early childhood education for working families in our community. Creative Playtime is an inclusive, New York State Licensed school serving kids of all and no religious backgrounds.
